Paper 1  -  General Studies

Himachal Pradesh:

• History

• Geography

• Polity

• Art and Culture

• Socio Economic Development

India:

• History, Indian National Movement, Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India, Indian Polity and Governance, Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights and Issues.

• Economic and Social Development - Sustainainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion,Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives.

• General Issues on Environmmental Ecology, Biodiversity and Climate Change.

Current Events of National and International importance.

Physical, Social, Economic Geography of the World.

Paper 2  -  Aptitude Test

• Comprehension

• Interpersonal Skills including Communication Skills

• Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability

• Decision Making and Problem Solving

• General Mental Ability

Class X level :

• Basic Numeracy ( Number and their Relations, Orders of Magnitude etc.)

• Data Interpretation (Charts, Graphs, Tables, Data Sufficiency etc.)

• English Language Comprehension skills.

Instructions

• There wili be the provision for penality i.e. negative marking for wrong answers in the objective type Questions.

• There will be four choices for every questions. One third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penality of a wrong answer has been given by the candidate.

• If a candidate gives more than answer, it will be treated as wrong answer and there will be same penality as above for that question.

• If no answer is given by the candidate means question is left blank, there will be no penality for that question.
